does oracle save any files in windows folder.
I have windows in C drive.
Oracle in D drive. Enterprise version 9.0.1.1
I have formated C drive & install fresh copy of Windows XP
Do I need to reinstall Oracle too.
it all files are are safe in D drive.
At the most I can recreate servies in windows.
If few files are there in windows folder & I can copy that from another PC windows which also have oracle on it.
That way I only need to register services in window &
do not require to reinstall Oracle.

Oracle also creates a directory in systemm device\program files.
And also it registers many things in registry.
