Data Pump import [message #229837]

I am using Data Pump to perform export/import in the tablespace mode.
I have created the tablespace in the target database. Do we have to precreate the users in the target database before we perform the import?

As far as I can tell, no - import will create all users.

But you'd perhaps better wait for a DBA to answer your question.

I just tried the import. But it complained saying the user does not exist. So we might have to pre-create the users.

You have to create user first. after you can import.
