Hi,

Can anyone provide me with a formula for calculating the NBV in oracle fixed assets. I am using Oracle Discoverer to extract some reports, but i could not get the NBV. So is it calculated? How is that accomplished?

Please help.

Regards,
murad

The NBV (Net Book Value) is calculated as the Asset Cost less the Life-to-Date Depreciation. Thus, if we bought the asset for 120 and we have depreciated the asset at 1 per month for the last 52 months, the Life-to-Date Depreciation will be 52 and the NBV will be (120-52) 68.
