I've got a problem. I'm using Enterprise Manager. I can login to SYSTEM normally, but if I try to add the SYSDBA privilege I get an error ("your username and/or password are invalid.")

This doesn't show up in sqlplus, I can login both ways with the same password there.

I run version 10g on winxp.

Thanks

hi,

SYS is not the owner of OEM

You can connect to the OEM throung system/manager

well if your are using OMC then SYSMAN/OEM_TEMP is the owner
Before connecting with sysman you must have configured your OMC ..

And if you are using standalone server on which you are trying to connect with OEM then you can use system/manager or you can configure for standalone, while configuring this u will create user for standalone by which you can connect to the OEM on standalone .
