Hi all,

I am a beginner to work in Pro *C in windows platform. Can u tell me where should I write the C program with SQL code in VC++ IDE or somewhere else?

Whether I 've to save my VC++ program with SQL code as myfile.pc or simply as .c file?

Thanks in advance....

Hi carthy,

Basically pro*c have 2 environments.

1). Unix environment (Real time work environment)
2). PC Environment with VC++ IDE

you are in second environment, so you have to write
the code in the VC++ IDE and then u have to made proper
setting in the VC++ IDE.

and one more thing is u have to save ur files with .pc extension only.
