hi deepa,
I know u r having probs with pro*c as a starter,as i was having at the beggining. But i learn it through the oracle documentation only.Pro*c developer guide. Please go through it.That is having everything.
That is the best book in the market.

If u r easy with c and basic sql and plsql(includes ref cursor also),then u can follow this book.It is having examples at the end of each chapetr perhaps.that is the main key to understand proc.

take care
bye
