Dear Sir
Can 2 Oracle databases be run simultaneously on the Same Linux Box ?
Or Should i Shut down one of them to start the other

While In windows 2000 I have found that more 2 databases can be running at the same time
Can you please help me in how to run the databases simultaneously in Red Hat Linux 8? If possible .

Yes, you can have as many running instances as you have resources (memory, disk etc...). I think the only requirement is that each one has a unique identifier (SID).
