I have a laptop on which I was running an application with an Oracle 8i database with NT4 server.  A download into the database would normally take about 1 hour.  I am now running the same application with Windows 2000 and the same download takes in excess of 4 hours and sometimes never finishes.  Does anyone have any clues?
