I am installing a new Oracle 9.2 server on Windows
2000. I have installed the Oracle software, but not created any instances. I have also downloaded the patch set to upgrade to Oracle 9.2.0.3. What I want to know is should I install the patchset before or after creating ny first instance. If I install it first, do I need to run any scripts after creating my first instance (or after creating other instances later).

I know its late, but if you've the possibilty run 9.2.0.3 or 9.2.0.4 before creating an Instance.
It's only a time-difference value
