Hello,

I try to replicate a table on an Oracle-Database to a DB2-Database.

When I have a working connection to the DB2-Server, how can I replicate my Oracle Table to DB2?

Is there any feature in Oracle (Version 9.2 / on AIX) to do it?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can use Oracle Streams with the Oracle Transparent Gateway for DB/2 to replicate data to and from Oracle.

Oracle Streams (part of Oracle 9i) is documented in the Oracle Streams Guide:
See chapters 9 (Streams Heterogeneous Information Sharing) and 22 (Single Source Heterogeneous Replication Example).

Oracle Transparent Gateway for DB/2 is a product that needs to be procured and installed separately.

Best regards.

Frank
