Migration from 7.3 to 8i (URGENT) [message #73872]

Hi All,

�� We�were using two database server one is very old 7.3 and one is new with 8i.

�� our 7.3 data server got crashed and i want that data back. i dont have DMP (exported) file. but have all other files (ie. Control log, datafiles).�

�� CAN ANYBODY�EXPLAIN�ME�HOW�TO�MIGRATE�THESE FILES��IN 8i.

create new 8i database.
precreate the tablesapaces/users as in 7.3 database
import the 7.3 object into 8i database.

Hi,
how to import the datafiles to 8i, I dont have DMP file of 7.3 database. i just have .DBF files .LOG files and .CTL file.
