Hi

I have a problem .

 I am trying to insert data from an excel sheet to a table using sql loader .

My problem is that the sheet has some 8000 rows and after inserting correctly till 7200 rows say, its not inserting the rest and giving some or the other erroprs like ora-01722 or invalid number etc .

plz help its urgent.

Hi,

This probably has something to do with the way MS-Excel formats large numbers (probably some scientific notation).

Check the BAD file for rows that were not loaded, and let us know the format of the numbers that is invalid.
