hi.every body

I plan to upgrade my database from 8.1.6 to 9.2

and I want to use export/import utility to upgrade my database.

Is  ora 9.2 support that method?

Hi,

Just use export utility of ur 8x DB and import of ur 9X DB. There is no other related issue.

Make sure:

1). Datafile size (ora9.2) is same or more than (one of table initial extent) in same tablespace.

2) Create tablespace name at ora9.2 same as at ora8.1.6. If not, default user tablespace will be placed.
