Hi,

         Please help me in importing only partial data say 20% of data only from a export dump which is a full data base dump.

please let me know is it aloowed to do so and if yes how to I mean the command for doing it.

Hi,
You can extract any schema or a Table from a FULL Db dump but cannot extract rows partially from each table.

As Himanshu said, You cannot partially import the rows from a dump file.
still, you can do a partial export ( selected rows of a table) and import it.
