Hi
I am facing problem while taking export as follows:
. . exporting table ONLM_PURPOSE_MASTER
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 4021 encountered
ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object NHPC4.ONLM_PURPOSE_MASTER

Everytime it gives me the problem for this table only.
what could be the possible reason for this?
Even the user working on this table complains that he is not able to update or insert rows in this table.
while no lock is acquired over this table.
Please help
