Hi all,

I have come to a point where I have close to a hundred connections set up to the direct-connection tab of my TOAD. It would be nice(!) to back them up. Where does TOAD store/parses the direct connection information?

Thanks

Hi,

Do you mean that I need to backup all folder contents?

Thanks

Perhaps only:
 Directory of C:\Users\YourUserId\Application Data\Roaming\Quest Software
\Toad for Oracle\11.0\User Files

01/10/2012 09:34 AM 2,654 CONNECTIONACTIONS.INI
01/10/2012 09:34 AM 12,818 CONNECTIONPWDS.INI
01/10/2012 09:34 AM 10,742 CONNECTIONS.INI
               3 File(s) 26,214 bytes
               0 Dir(s) 11,882,160,128 bytes free

But, I would zip the whole thing...

If you upgrade to Toad v11.0, the connections window now has a connections export and import button to make transporting connections really easy.
