Hi all,
I have TOAD Version 10.5.1.3, and i want to see the Japanese font, for that i tried changing view->toad options->display->Fonts to "Arial Unicode MS" and selected Script as "Japanese" and click on Apply and OK.
But the Script option is automatically changed to "Western" ( not to "Japanese").
Any idea how to solve this and set the font script to "japanese"

こにちわ。
I don't use Toad, but I have set up some Asian environments before.
Does the Japanese Font work in general in other applications, for example Notepad, and can you read the first line of this post?
Is Asian language support installed in Windows?

You can try this but not sure that it will work or not
Reset NLS_LANG on your Client machine to AMERICAN_AMERICA.JA16SJIS to view Japanese and AMERICAN_AMERICA.ZHT16BIG5 to view Chinese. Then change the font script for each language by right clicking on the data and choosing Grid Options | Data Grids - Visual | Fonts | Grid and choose Arial Unicode MS as the Font. This changes the script to Japanese for Japanese characters or to ChineseBig5 for Chinese.
