Hi,

I am trying to install 10g on my laptop (Windows XP SP3) and when the universe installer launches in the DOS window, it says that no prerequisites are going to be checked because an ini file is missing and then I get the infamous Microsoft Error window "Send Error Report / Don't Send Error Report" and I can proceed no further. I tried version 11 earlier and it worked fine. But I need version 10g in order for Toad to work.

Attached is a screen print.

Please help!

Thanks,

Bob

The first message is expected: there is no prerequisite on Windows.

Thanks, that's a start. By the way, I also rebooted in safe mode and signed in as Administrator and have the same problem.
