Hi -

I am a newbie to OCI. We have a c program with OCI 7I calls compiled in Oracle 7.3.2 client. Now we want to test if the same program can be recompiled with Oracle 8.1.6 client. The compilation fails as the makefile refers to non-existing libraries. some of the libraries for example libclient.a has a new version libclient8.a but some others like libimp.a or libexp.a libsqlnet.a doesn't seem to have a matching library in oracle 8. I searched extensively on any document to map oracle 7.x libraries with oracle 8 but no luck yet. Can anyone please help me point to some documents or suggesting any other ways would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance. please feel free to ask for more details from my end.
