Hi!

Im about to install Software Config Manager from Oracle Support and want to check which JDK version is installed on the server.

java -version did not work.

Any ideas?

EDIT:Well, I had to stand in the rigth path.... Embarassed
so java -version worked...

Go to your ORACLE_HOME\jdk\bin directory

then type
java -version
java version "1.4.2_08"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_08-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_08-b03, mixed mode)


The JDK version is the same as "java version"
