I have instoled oracle 9i on windows 2000, but don't having the user id and password to open sql plus. Will you help in this context.

Some username and passwords are given below

username password

1. scott tiger
2. sys change_on_install
3. system manager
4. internal oracle

You can change the abover passwords as for example
at the SQL prompt

SQL>alter user scott identified by tiger123

There are several ways....

USERID/PASSWORDS are

SYS/CHANGE_ON_INSTALL
SYSTEM/MANAGER
SCOTT/TIGER
HR/HR
connect / as sysdba if O/S authentication is enabled.
